Just posting some Christmas cards and thought of all you Q3W folk

Another year has flown by. Trust me when I say they get quicker as you (seemingly) get older

Seemingly? Me, I feel like a 40 year old but trying to catch them is another matter >:)

I just wanted to say it has been lovely interacting with you as we do on this forum.

I'd like to wish you & yours all the best for the season so catch my wish for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, yes, even those who choose to lurk behind anonymous logins

We should all send each other Christmas cards.

Edit: how about someone buys a large sized Christmas card, signs it and sends it to another Q3Wer who then signs it and sends it along. We can collect all of the Q3W family!

Did this on a car forum about 10 years ago. We'd put stickers and other funny things in there and it was fairly interesting. I always wondered what happened to it and why it stopped, until 3-4 years ago when I found the damn folder in my closet. ooops....

Re: Christmas 2019 & New Year 2020, I just visited the local shopping centre. Silly me. I was thinking to grab a last minute gift or two. I left, shopping bag empty.. Crazy!

Quick story, while walking about I passed a fit/tall guy wearing a baseball cap chatting a younger fellow and inspecting his shopping bags. I then noticed the tall guy had an earpiece. He was dressed in civvies and not an expected security uniform. I loitered close-by so as to ask was he a copper or something. Guess what? Yes, he was a local Police Officer. So we stood there chatting and he said, can you spot the other two. Easy I said, motioning in their direction. Right again. The Police Officer volunteered they were conducting an 'operation'. Looking for shoplifters obviously.

I mentioned above I visited the local shopping centre that day leaving with the shopping bag empty.

Today, late in the afternoon I dropped by again and finished my Christmas shopping

then came home and wrapped them. Done!

Question regards late night trading especially in the week or days before Christmas Day; do the stores/shops where you're at trade longer hours and up to the last minute?
