Counts them on fingers; quickly running out..
You appear correct. Confirmed by googling "star wars episode 8".

While watching the trailer I was wondering when....
Yep, guessed Christmas :smirk:

thats quite the conclusion from 4 lines of dialogue.

This has a single player campaign though! Cmon, playing as an elite Imperial commando doesn't pique your interest? Especially after the Battlefield 1 SP experience which was top notch.

With respect to multiplayer, Hopefully finally Dice/EA will realise that the paid for content dlc model is out dated and divides communities and employ the microtransaction/cosmetic type model instead. They've killed nearly all their multiplayer communities with paid for extra content and it's happening again with Battlefield 1.

Hopefully they'll also put some of their more 'advanced' features from Battlefield into Battlefront and not treat their fans like retards with a dumbed down game again. This is what put me off Battlefront in the first place and why i still haven't bought it, even in a sale.

Battlefront was a great simple shooter. It just lacked content for a $60 game which was fucking bullshit.

Leia (or the actress Carrie Fisher to be correct) already died. It's so shame, but editors had to tweak the screenplay since Carrie was a face of the role, which can't be replaced. Harrison Ford won't appear in ep8 (since Han Solo was murdered by his own son), but at least he's still alive. Carrie's death touched pretty much every fan of SW franchise (including me)...
