Looking to get a new TV...

Post by xer0s »

I'm going to setup a small game room so I don't have all my shit in the main living area. Plan on buying a xbone and maybe watch some movies. What TV do you recommend? I'm looking to spend around $1000. So it looks like I can maybe do a 50-60 inch? Is the 4k worth getting right now? Any suggestions?

I'd say get a 60" t.v. for about $1k or less.

not much 4k content, waste of cash, unless for gaming, but you need a beefy gfx card 980Ti / Fury

Once my house is built I do want a projector in my theater room. So I'm holding out for that.

Although, is a projector good for gaming? Isn't there a lag problem? Or do they have that sorted out by now?

I know, it's not much to spend. But I'm going low price cause I only plan on using this TV for a few years, and I probably won't use it that much...

Thanks for the link.

I've got a Samsung in my living room that I've had several years and it's been good to me. Vizio really isn't an option...

I don't need a 70 inch for this small room. It would look dumb. I can't blame you for not understanding though. We've all seen your pathetic interior decorating...:olo:

You're full of shit. If you're going low price then $300-$400 will get you a more than decent TV.

Oh, that's a hard demand now.
Well, it'd get you a very decent 40" TV.

My 64" was over 2k so 1k for a 60" is low.
