You could elaborate on that?
Didn't follow links, TLDR.
Digital painter? Oil or whatever?
The images you posted look good, but the content isn't really impessive. To me.

I'm not going to speak for Seremtan, here, of course, but I'll tell you this:

The appeal of those paintings is clearly the juxtuposition of old style art and clothing with modern science fiction.

I got it. The fusion. Still, the content doesn't impress me.

I don't know much about painting history, yet to me it looks like van Gogh/Rembrandt style? Am I correct there?

It looks good, good crossove. But still, he can paint however good he wants, the content is lacking, imo.

Yeah I love these. He's working on some kind of RPG now I think.

I got the limited edition Simon Stålenhag's Tales from the Loop kickstarter which is a very similar style.

those look cool too, though with a more utopian feel than Rozalski's brutality and cruelty (which is strongly implied even in the pics without bodies hanging from trees)

Got a bit of a Caspar David Friedrich vibe to them these have. Different painting style, but that same brutality and hyperreal lighting style to them.

Very nice, especially at full size

yeah - i like how he used colour for the air/spacecraft. a welcome change from the relentless charcoal of so many imaginings of space vehicles. the cerulean highlights are a nice touch too
