Don't think you can embed youtu.be URL, probably has to be a youtube.com/v=xyz

That said, great video. Jim Jefferies is some funny shit :olo:

EDIT: Ah no, NVM. You just need the video code and nothing else.

In before Gramps comes in with his "I thoroughly enjoyed that video and found the comedian's bits on gun control funny and also interesting. However, I disagree with blah blah blah..."

For starters, there's no such thing as an 'assault' rifle. That's a name made up to make it sound more deadly. Also, he's wrong about how expensive illegal guns would be to get here. Fairly cheap and easy to get. That wouldn't change too much if they went completely illegal.

Strange that you say that, because everywhere else in the world where firearms have been made illegal has eventually seen a huge surge in the price of a firearms and ammunition. Don't you think that's weird, how the data easily accessible in a two minute Google search seems to completely contradict what you're saying? Have you thought of maybe contacting the people who compile that information and telling them they've all collectively managed to get it so wrong?

Also weird: how Wikipedia has an assault rifle page with scores of references to other pages calling them Assault Rifles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault_rifle

I'm saying in comparison to legal guns. They're all going up, that's no secret.

Also, by the popular definition of 'assault weapon' being automatic they wouldn't legally be in most homes anyway. And the semi-auto variety are no different than any semi-auto sport/hunting rifles other than looks. In that case, I guess the semi-auto .22 I had as a kid was an assault rifle.

Seems to me Scourge is part of that 10% that's fucking furious. But I guess that doesn't really come as a surprise to anyone, eh?

Furious? Hardly. I don't own any guns, nor do I feel the need to. If someone breaks into my house they are more likely to have a machete hanging out of their skull than anything.
