Add to that list a Nexus 4 and brand new camera after a guy from work managed to leave them on a bus over there :tard:

Doubt he'll be getting them back.

it would be more fun to track down the person who lost those things from the clues in the devices than just steal them

Should be pretty easy given it would be tied to his email address. I've not heard from him for a while so who knows.

But yeah I agree. In fact, someone else from work went to Glastonbury the other week and found a brand new iPhone 5. He managed to do just that and track the owner down.
