Why does this site return me to the topic list?

All these years, one really annoying thin about this site is that every time I login from L&D, it sends me back to the topic list, can't this be fixed, so it returns me to where I were?

You could just go back on your browser. The next thread you navigate to will have you logged in.

kinda depends. I always login from the main page so I never had this problem.

is there a reason you can't stay logged in? multi-user PC?

i am always logged in and have my bookmarks setup to various parts of the forum, i haven't seen the main page in like 12+ years

He shouldn't have to change his browsing habits because of this one flaw.

Anyway. Fixed it for you, login now returns you to the page you were originally at.
Let me know if there are any issues.

@ SOM, for some reason I can't stay logged in, when I switch to my laptop and go back to the stationary again, it logs me out from everything.
