And here I am calling them bogans. Still prefer them to the singlet wearing, tattoo covered Hercules tools that dominate King's Cross & the more touristy beaches.

Thinking now, prompted by the term tools. Haven't heard that for a while MrPink :)

Houso's. is probably the term for southern Australia were there is a lot of public housing I suspect (not sure) whereas ferals tend to live off the land in single dwellings, houses as opposed to flats.

Note to self: Research this for the statistics
