He declined to say what might be behind the attacks, but said a lot of research is being done on the subject and that authorities hope to have more information soon.

Yeah, I read somewhere shark attacks/kills are becoming noticeably more frequent around Australia, lately. Particularly off the coast of Perth (South West australia).

I swim in the ocean all year 'round. The thought of a shark attack is pretty fucked up, it just doesn't particularly concern me when I'm out there.
