em·bed ( P ) Pronunciation Key (m-bd) also im·bed (m-)
v. em·bed·ded, em·bed·ding, em·beds
v. tr.
To fix firmly in a surrounding mass: embed a post in concrete; fossils embedded in shale.
To enclose snugly or firmly.
To cause to be an integral part of a surrounding whole: “a minor accuracy embedded in a larger untruth” (Ian Jack).
Biology. To enclose (a specimen) in a supporting material before sectioning for microscopic examination.
Now, lets think about that and Dram... shal we?

How so? It says absolutelly nothing about the pipeline. Ohh wee, we have a pipeline that can go 48 ways........ and?Grudge wrote:phantasmagoria wrote:wtf is that?10 MB embedded DRAM
Also, this is pretty cool:
- 48-way parallel floating-point shader pipelines
edit: 10MB embedded DRAM means exactly that, there will be ram on the GPU of size 10 MB. Ram on the GPU is ram you don't have to use elsewhere. The closeness of the ram also helps in latency ( in the milliseconds).
