divide it by ten you get nanomol/DL
pico 10^-12
nano 10^-9
so multiply by 1000 and you get picomol/dl
then get the subtance's mol value and multiply it with the picomol/dl and you get picogram/dl
which element is it and whats the value? (so i can make sure)
edit: divide by 1000 for the litre>dl conversion

Er, I dunno man, I just had my testosterone measured and that's the nmber they gave me.. I only understand it when it's in picograms though, so I'm lost
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.

ait heres you you do it
288 * 22*10^-9 = 5016*10^-9 gr/l
divide by 1000 (for l>dl .. m3 > dm3)
5,016*10^-9 gr/dl
then if you want picograms 10^-12 multiply it by a thousand..
so you get 5016*10^-12 pgr/dl
hm feel free to correct me, im known to make mistakes
nono thats the value you should use. what i did here was adding all the individual gr/mol values, so you can figure out how much grams there are in a mol of the molecule. with that you can start your calc.
Part of it, then he gave you the rest in the post above mine. He needed to know the composition of the substance to obtain the molecular weight, from which he found the mass of the substance per mole.
hmm...
22.0*10^-9 mol/l right?
288 * 22.0*10^-9 = 5016*10^-9 grams in 1 litre
>> divide by 1000 for dl
5,016*10^-9 gr in 1 dl
>> times 1000 for 10^-12 which is pico
5016 pgr in 1 dl
