Spartacus- gods of the arena
it's that time again and it looks like part1 is already slicing and dicing

Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
is this that TV show? because that looked like utter tommy tank
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
yes it is.... what's the matter, you don't like oiled down, chiseled men?
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
Spartacus is an awesome television program full of tits and ass .. both sexers.

Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
It's basically a very dumbed down version of Rome. They cunningly removed all character depth, proper dialogue and a solid story and replaced it with copious sex, extremely gory violence and cursing - i've accidentally watched a few episodes of last season and it hurt my poor brain.
Out of slight interest, didn't the main character die of the Spanish flu last season or something? How did they fix that?

Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
he is not in this one, and it seems that it's a prequel to the first season. For instance the Colosseum is not even built yet.
sure it's not top notch television but I remember there were a few fans here last season so I figure I'd mention something.

Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
Jupiter's cock! (Why Jupiter in particular anyways?) I forgot this was starting up last week. Thanks for the reminder.
First episode was very interesting. I'm really looking forward to getting the back story on Crixus, Ashur, Solonius, etc. My money is on Crixus killing Gannicus during his final trials. And didn't Oenomaus say something about his wife also being murdered last season? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to her.
And no, he didn't die.

How much story and depth are you expecting to get out of single episodes? The story that played out over the entire first season was an absolutely brutal roller coaster.Ryoki wrote:It's basically a very dumbed down version of Rome. Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
So far I don't like the new Spartacus actor. He seems too small, pretty, green, and really didn't convey much emotion. And what's with that cunt still being alive!?
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
they should of got the hottie guy from fast and furious...he sexy...he look like the other guy a little...but hotter...and not dead...
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
i could tell by the first two minutes that the overall production of this thing has gone down the shitter. I stopped watching at minute 5
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
that lil guy from Hawaii five 0 would be a great Spartacus ey?
it is about time!
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
I agree! Or the little guy from Fantasy Island!

Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
Can't wait to see more of the history of Oenameaus. His fights were insane...
Re: Spartacus- gods of the arena
I remember that show, I only watch the pilot and it just wasn't all that interesting, imho.
