Wassup with the dead birds and fishies

Post by Unisaw »

OK. This is getting wierd. I didn't believe the fireworks explanation for the death of 5,000 redwing blackbirds. Then there were some tens of thousands (ok 83,000 to be exact) of fish in a fishkill. Now there are 500 dead starlings and cowbirds dead in Baton Rouge. The birds in both cases appear traumatized. WTF is going on? It isn't even 2012 yet!

You can't finish your comment with "next question..." unless your comment is badass. Otherwise, you just look like a tool...

The birds stumbled onto a secret government plot.

They knew too much. They had to die.

My money, if we're taking bets right now, is that Large Hadron Collider thing :smirk:

"This process took place in a safe, controlled environment, generating incredibly hot and dense sub-atomic fireballs with temperatures of over ten trillion degrees.

"At these temperatures even protons and neutrons, which make up the nuclei of atoms, melt resulting in a hot dense soup of quarks and gluons known as quark-gluon plasma.

Don't know their timetables but it sounds a might suspicious don't you think?

fyi unexplained mass fish deaths off the coromandel coast of new zealand in the past few days.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the resurfacing of all that corexit-laden oil after being hefted around the undersea drifts for a few months.

Kind of intruiging.
But then I read similar events (flocks of birds dropping out of the sky) happened like 16 times before in the US.

I love seeing crazy religious cunts immediately misinterpreting it as some kind of omen harbinging the end of times.
I don't love seeing supposedly serious media actually giving a modicum of credit to said cunts.
