new PC, got questions

i had 2 of my PC's die on me, (blown capacitors) got a new PC now, recommend me a virus scanner Win 7 compatable 64-bit.

specs, nothing special

CPU - AMD X2 dual core phenom 555 3.2GHz
RAM - Kingston 2x2 gig 1600 MHz DDR3
PSU - Coolermaster 600W
GFX - EVGA nVidia GT220 1gig DDR3
Mobo - Asus M4N75TD

^^ that. No sense running any non-windows/MS security products any longer. It'll probably be built into the next Windows if they're allowed to do it.
