Some of you might remember me mention that a bunch of Swedish guys were working on a 3D engine for Total Annihilation,
well they released a beta version not too long ago.

It's going to be open source.
It has firstperson mode, deformable terrain, rotaty zoomy camera, knockback, units trampling trees, water reflections, moving skies, moving shadows

can't stand strategy games so most likely won't be checking it out myself - but it looks like they've achieved a lot. fair play to them :icon14:
