Fusing Patch Meshes

Is there any way to "fuse" several patch meshes together (like merging with brushes)? If not, how did PJW make a spherical patch for his sky in pjw3quickie5?

The reason I ask is because I need my environment maps to render cleanly across the surfaces. By using the two cone sphere method I don't have clean reflections where the patches meet.

Thanks,
-pat

See plugins > Bobtoolz. It requires a bit of finesse.

And what's with 1.5.0? I actually do have some sort of 1.5.0 build installed but I realised that there are some features missing, so before installing it again (that time using obsidian's linked version, thanks!) I thought that you probably know about it anyway.

1.5 has it too. It also has buttons directly on the plugin toolbar (don't know if it works correctly, though).
