Yea they were both pretty funny. It's nice to see this kind of humor, but at the same time it's a little weird.

I laughed at both. It was kind of refreshing to see.

McCain did better. Wasn't his own material, of course, and a little stuttery delivery, but he pulled it off well, I think.
And Obama shouldn't have gone all serial and dramatic at the end.
Christ, I hate how everything these cunts do gets scrutinized. There's probably going to polls about this as well.

but... isn't obama a terrist? why's mccain laughing with him at dinner?

i don't envy people who have to deal with that level of cognitive dissonance.

:olo: Good point. I suspect there will be some exploding heads among conservatives.

Gotta laugh sometimes. :olo: Definitely refreshing.

side note: Even though Obamas foreign policy is retarded, he did impress me on his economic plans. Just because I'm a Republican, doesn't mean I hafta vote that way.

How is his foreign policy retarded when compared to bomb-bomb-bomb-Iran McCain?

Because our perceptions are so far apart, I doubt we could find the middle ground. When I consider the candidates foreign policy, I think of trade and communication. Obviously, the gentleman from Fender sees foreign policy as murdering people. Maybe I need to focus closer in and he needs to widen his view, but these two perceptions preclude any constructive dialog at this time.

*sigh*

Foreign policy, more specifically (for this conv), Economic foreign policy should not be based on whether or not the opposing government is nice to it's people or not. Yes, that should be addressed at a later time, but first consideration should be the impact on our own economy. Marshall foreign policy should be reconsidered by both Dems and Reps, really. McCain is of the same insanity as Bush, and IMO, Obama is completely naive. I still haven't heard much on Cultural foreign policy from either one. So, the important difference, to me, is the economic.

Gosh, way to hit me in my courage deficiency.
