I wonder if he can add HDR to it, or would it be too much work (reprogramming some parts)?

they aint gonna add hdri, got this from doom3world.org:
I'm actually planning on answering a lot of those questions in a post
when we get the RoE SDK out, but I'll briefly touch on them here:
There was a little bit of code added to the renderer and a bit of code
added to the game. The executable for RoE is the same as the one for
vanilla Doom 3, so that feature will be available in the next patch.
The code to make it work in your mod will be available in the next SDK
(which we are hoping to get out the same day as the patch).
I'm pretty sure RoE uses the normal Doom 3 interaction.vfp, it's just
not included in the pack because it's taken from base like any other mod.
fs_game_base can be used to set an additional search path
in search order, fs_game, fs_game_base, BASEGAME
for instance to base a mod on D3 + D3XP assets, fs_game mymod,
fs_game_base d3xp
HDR will never be added to the Doom3 engine

don't think the mod looks any better though, just more plastic :icon27:

why would you add HDR to a game that uses as little light as it can?

There's also a menu in that mod where there's a gameplay-tuning slider for Doom3. Unfortunately, it's labelled "Suck" and it's permanently stuck on full.

There better be an option to tweak the hair physics.
