Good snack food...

Post by Canis »

What really gets you satisfied when you've got the hunger cravings? I love cashews and honey-roasted peanuts, but too many get me a bit sick.

I like making a hot sandwich. Dark Pumpernickel, mustard, honey roasted ham, smoked turkey breast and swiss cheese. Takes about 8 minutes in the oven. mmmmm

Now you're making me hungry again. >:E

I like pears when it comes to fruit. Red delicious apples are a close second.

well this isn't exactly a snack, but tomorrow i'm gonna start incorporating a fruit & vegetable mix into my diet.

All items are organic:

pear, avocado, beansprouts, different types of radish, orange, maybe mango, maybe tomato, and whatever else I can think of that'll fit in. Perhaps some pumpkin seeds and stuff like that.

Chop it all up, mix together in bowl, and pour on some homemade olive oil based dressing.

Should be pretty fuckin awesome :)

well I made the salad today - was excellent:

salad
one pear
one avocado
one orange
one mango
buckwheat sprouts (similar to bean sprouts)
2 leaves of romano lettuce
mixed greens
black radish

dressing
lime
salt
pepper
olive oil

I might only use half an orange/pear next time, and add some pumpkin/pine/hemp seeds.

That's way too time consuming.

Really? Cause it'd take me like 7 minutes just to get all those ingredients out and ready to put together and then it'd take me at least another 10-15 minutes to wash the dishes afterwards.

Velveeta cheese, melted and a can of Rotel added plus some firy ass hot sauce just to make it zing.
