havent played 3 yet but it looks like its more my thing that 2 was. the awkward aiming was indeed a bitch, plus i hate FPSs where you never get to see your own hands. makes it look like the weapon is floating :icon30:PhoeniX wrote:I've almost completed timesplitters 3; it's really good, much better than the original 2 (which I didn't like; had awkward aiming)

Currently playing the SP campaign of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and it's damn fine.
Still feels quite linear, but it's harder (on Expert), and looks the Dog's.
Some things look shiny when they shouldn't, and they've given Sam a more youthful appearance; I preferred the grizzled old guy look of the previous titles, but I guess they're changing his image in preparation for the movie.
But it has a nice stats screen at the end of each mission a la Thief, and the choice between lethal and non-lethal hand-to-hand attacks rocks.
It's still more about silent takedowns than ghosting, but it does it very well.
Edit: The addition of secondary objectives is nice too, although they do seem to all be much of the same (scan so many boxes, put tracers on so many boxes, etc.).
