HTF do you beat the skorpion king? First time playing so I guess I'm in need of some good tips. N00b and smoke gave me some trouble, but man this last dude is fucking hardcore.

It's simple my friend: The easist way to beat the dragon king is to stun him by touching one of the 6 floating things on the sides of the arena. Each time you do this he is stunned and your attacks do more damage. try to use your best combo against him so that it takes three stuns to beat him per round. Use the other three floating things to finish him off in round 2.

One thing that seems lame is they included character video bios? for those that buy the premium pack or sommat... sucks if ya ask me.

Saw it in the circuit city paper last night for 27 bucks so I picked it up. Would be nice to have those extras... are those movies CG?

character bio vids are interviews with the devs and the motion capture artists that play the characters. they include video from the games they've been in. some have been posted by midway on the internet for you to view.

ending vids in this game are what suck ass. no cg fmv just renders and that old guy talking in the background. with the added space in mediums for next gen consoles we will be making everything cg because we will have the space for it.

Yeah I have those they come as unlockables in the krypt, and some are in the kontent mode when you start. So what is the extra stuff on the 'special edition' then?

Meh I got it for PS2.

You mean the same videos that are in the kontent mode (like with the mo cap people) but unlocked for all the characters from the start? Hmmm, then I should be able to get those too, so far I only unlocked ermac tho.

BTW is it worth playing all the way through in the konquest mode?

even though konquest has the most horrible voice acting to date and a shit load of fetch quests, its worth it especially if you want to play online. When you finish konquest you unlock Shujinko in the fighting game and further exploration in konquest mode can earn shujinko's special moves and fatalities.

Note: the hardest thing you'll have to do in konquest is fighting Scorpion. First you will fight him in the nexus to beat konquest secondly you will fight him in Edenia in area "A1" if you manage to beat him, his spear move is unlocked as one of Shujinko's special moves.

If you dont want to bother with looking for all the unlockables just say so and I'l send you the df to find everything in konquest.
