Where were you when the West was defeated?

Nah. I'm staying a generation behind for the time being. Considering picking up an XBox and GC when I get moved into my new flat and grabbing a selection of the classics for each format.

I'm thinking of buying one, but I'll wait for a bit before actually getting one. It's a combination of already spending too much money lately on stuff that's not considered necessities and also the fact that I have a stack of PC games I have yet to play. A couple of them are still in shrink wrap.

i was thinking of buying zelda for the gamecube too, but then i keep on reading reviews of people who say the game is much more fun using the wii controls.
Fury's getting in line at Wal-Mart as soon as he gets out of Karate. I figured I'd be a pal and scout out a few Wal-Marts in the vicinity so he can get into line where he has the best chance of picking one up.

I'm going pre-order if that is an option for the next batch of them. I refuse to camp out.
The Best Buy near me has 94 of them in stock ATM. Doesn't seem to be that big of a line up outside. If I wanted to, I can certainly pick one up tomorrow. So unlike Sony, Nintendo decided that they can actually manage their factories to produce the right amount of consoles for launch.

Hmmmm. An Xbox and Wii would make more sense then, considering that the Wii is backwards compatible.
I'll probably get one in a couple months when more games are out. I dont feel like spending $300 just to play Zelda atm, especially when there are still games I would like to try on the 360.
I just got back from the Toys R Us that Fury parked his ass in front of. There are only a dozen people there so far (it's past 4am).
I brought a small TV and PS2 and hooked them up to some of the outlets on the outside of the building and a bunch of the guys in line were playing Guitar Hero II with me and Fury.
I was surprised at how well I could play some of the songs by memory with no feeling in my fingers and gloves on...

When Fury comes on here i am going to take the piss and call him an uber nerd!
