how would one go about finding ~/.quake3/etc? i cant seem to find any settings to allow hidden folders to be viewed. do i need to do this in root? i know very little about macs though i guess its similar to linux? also, will i have seperate mod dirs in home (~/.quake3/cpma) with cfgs that need to be edited as well.
does the user have to have certain credentials to view that folder? is this also where the cfg files are, as there are no cfg files where ive installed q3. [hd/app../quake3]
only the .app file is 'installed' in the Application folder. You probably need administrator rights or be logged in as that user to see the username/library/application support/quake3 folder

hd/applications/quake and
username/library/applicationsupport/quake3
the library/application support directory is where your maps an configs go
my maps are in the baseq3 folder in my Quake 3 folder. Should i move them?
