Dark games like Fear and especially Doom 3 dont work too well wtih the LCD. Example, heres bush from Fear.
If I look straigt at my screen, the bush looks completely black. Its a really fadded dark black that almost seems silverish kind of. The only way I can see the bush clearly (leaves and all) I have to look to the bottom left or bottom right. Like literally, move my whole head to all the way down to the bottom left side of the screen so that I'm looking up at the picture. When I do that, i can see everything clearly.
The only other way I fixed this was turning up the gama. That only made things really faded out and unnatural. EVen though I could clearly see my gun model and detailed objects, it wasn't worth the ugliness.
If I move my head up and to the left/right it doesnt work. I can only see if I move my head to the bottom left/right.
