tell us ur current "go to" snack

Post by plained »

at this time for me its

-piece of lightly toasted rye bread with
thick slabs of fresh tomato seasoned with salt, cyeanne pepper and crushed black pepper

then i put some hq white chedder on top and microwave (yea i know:puke:) for 13 seconds

just so the cheese is jus barely beyond room temp, if it melts at all its gone to far and wrecked.

fucking yum0matic

Corned beef + garlic paste + bread + microwave = unholy, foul smelling win.

Recently I've been keeping a box of frosted mini-wheats around. I figure its better than sitting around with a bag of chips or cookies.

I was 6'5, 190 at graduation but I would rather not weigh that little again. I'm hoping to stay around 220 but chop my body-fat % in half.

i actually like braunschweiger (blame the nazi in me) but have never tried marmite. it just sounds disgusting. although, if/when i get the chance i'll certainly give it a shot.

i heard it's love or hate with that stuff.

You might not like the marmite (none of my friends do) but I've turned a lot of them on to fried braunschweiger. You slice the braunschweiger and fry it seperate, don't make it like grilled cheese. A good substitute for marmite is some plain dijon mustard and mayo.

edit: A quick warning, clean up is a bitch, and once you've fried the stuff, you'll realize how fatty it is.
