will take that as a no :)

anyway, this is a zodiac:

it's got a high-resolution (480 x 320) 3.8-inch, 16-bit color (65,536 colors) display, dedicated graphics and audio processors, okay battery life and (according to palm) still does everything an OS 5 palm does.

Old.

It's pretty shitty.

They're trying to sell people on the fact that it can play 3D games, but something is (or at least was) seriously wrong with it. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is on it and it lags really bad. I guess the 3D is nice but the 2D sucks? Who knows.

Anyway, be a man and buy one of those 600MHz iPaqs.

Christ... 624MHz. What would you even need that sort of speed for?

Are you looking for a PDA 4days? If not, get a PSP.

first and foremost a pda, this is a replacement for my old palm. but it'd be nice if it could play a couple of games as well - been reading up on this thing and it looks pretty good, can pick them up for < £100 so i'm sold :)

Seen one of these in the flesh today, and am now suffering extreme techno-lust.
I have no need for one whatsoever, yet the desire to splash out on one is almost overwhelming.
Nice large and bright screen, light as a feather, spiffy analog controller.....

they're great - the dial navigation takes a few seconds to get used to, as does the orientation of the screen, and the stylus clasp seems a little iffy. battery power's pretty good, used it as a walkman a few times now and had plenty of battery left after a few hours of use.

haven't actually had much time to play games yet - got a few train journeys coming up this month so will give the emus a bashing :)

Currently charging, but it's gorgeous.
