China doesn't want war. Taiwan should retain it's unofficial independent status and pretend it's part of China. Everyone is happy that way.

if the shit hits the fan between china and taiwan,the usa has promised taiwan it will help them, the usa would invoke the anzus treaty,which would pull australia into it, and maybe new zealand,uk has obligations to help oz in times of war,and so before you know whats happened the world is at war,

I'm very much against pursuing this political lunacy, both by the Chinese and Taiwenese governments. It would threaten so much of the expected economic, scientific, and technological progress to come if a conflict broke out. A pragmatic approach is required.
