Saw it at the snowboarding film festival in Snowdonia. The bit where they board through the streets of LA on elephant back is the best bit

Even better on the big screen. When the tropical sandstorm hits Chicago, the main character puts wheels on his snowboard and does some neat tricks in the dunes. There's also a parachute jumop out of a submarine right at the end. Hard to explain, you've got to see it to know what I mean :icon14:

Nah it's awesome, you gotta see it, man. The story isn't too great, but the action is fucking amazing. You'll love the beatboxing monkeys

it's very good, the way it is filmed is fuckin stellar, but the title is very wrong for this movie. The trailer and title suggest it is all about surfing virgin snow in Alaska, but there's a lot of focus on the lives of the 5 riders and the history of snowboarding and the way it has progressed over the years in general. Roughly 80% I think, the other 20% is snowboarding action on slopes of Alaskian mountains.

It is very entertaining to watch though, so I still recommend it
