Oblivion: custom soundtrack

OK, the Oblivion soundtrack is great (with some really special tracks too), but i'm gonna compile my own. I'm using the PC version, and see that Oblivion just uses MP3 files to load the songs.

However, I see the filenames such as:

atmosphere_01.mp3
atmosphere_03.mp3

Will I need to name all my custom MP3's to the same filenames as these, or can I just dump them in there and they'll play normally? Also, if its the former, can I just increment the numbers to add more than the default number of MP3's in that folder?

Also, if you wanna list your recommendations for music which will work nicely with this game, then please do (though be sensible... kylie isn't gonna work as battle music)

Hmm - so i altered my atmosphere mp3's, but i notice the game doesn't really go through the list at random. It prefers song 1 over song 9, it seems.

Or is that just me.

PS i reccomend Amon Tobin tracks for Oblivion, a lot of his stuff fits perfect for some reason :icon14:

Just dump everything in there - its completely random AFAIK, and you don't need to change filenames or anything.
