Sitting on my front porch

Post by Nightshade »

In one of these chairs:

Getting ready to write a design paper. I spent the day writing a lab report, then went out and got fertilizer and grass seed. Mowed the yard, trimmed the weeds, then put down the seed and fertilizer. My lawn looks like complete ass, and I'm hoping this does the trick.
I'm pissed that I didn't have time to ride today, as it's been fucking brilliant weather. Oh well, at least this chair owns hard.

How about you folks?

looks like one of those sex stirrup things.

It rained all day here, it's been quite miserable apart from I went to a local stand up comedy thing a couple of hours ago which was cool, am planning to play oblivion till the early hours of the morning, go to bed without setting my alarm and go to college around middayish.

Been working on my kitchen all day building shelves and enclosing the area above the cabinets, which I raised 6 inches yesterday. Fixing to eat dinner then clean out the work truck. Hurray for a relaxing Sunday off. :icon8:

went to get food, sat around most of the day. I did take the trash out though.

Why is it that I must eat a bit of everything that i bought, even if i am too full to eat anything more?

Woke up feeling like shit early this morning around 9 or so, still hung over and a little drunk but couldn't get back to sleep because my wisdom teeth are killing me. Sat around all day in my dorm room watching movies to wear off the hangover and am mentally preparing myself to spend big $$ taking a girl out to dinner tonight at The Cheesecake Factory in Caesar's.

I woke up at 12pm and at 1pm realised that it was already 2pm because of the time change, so i spent the day depressed because of that and because of watching a depressing movie (Proof) and then I watched some Grey's anatomy and then I went to the gym depressed, but the endorphins cheered me up a bit, so now I'm gonna watch some more series :icon14:

It's only 11:20am here but so far today i've had breakfast in the garden with my girlfriend and played some PSP in my hammock. No real plans for the rest of the day other than doing a bit of study.

I squandered Friday and Saturday so now I have a shitload of work to finish.
My brother's wife is out of town this weekend, so I went to his place and spent the last two days playing Perfect Dark and watching movies on an LCD projecter, playing some co-op RA2, and eating Chipotle. It was grand.

Today I am paying the price. I have to:
-Do 3 take-home tests (luckily 2 aren't due until Weds)
-Read a journal article on epigenetic transcription contol in cancer
-Perpare a presentation for my lab meeting
-Read a grant application and its corresponding reviewer feedback and come up with changes in the proposal.

So far I've finished one of the tests. And it's 10:30pm right now. Crap.

Went to Home Depot yesterday and picked up one of these bad boys and some plants.

Then we hooked up with the wife's sister and sister's husband and went down to Ft. Lauderdale to the Bank Atlantic Center for the Panthers vs Lighting game. We had seats in the VIP box with complementary buffet and open bar.

Got up today and did some work in the yard, ran the wire for the satellite radio through the attic and had an awesome steak cooked on the new grill for dinner. :icon31:

The fuck? You some kind of dimestore gynecologist?
Looks comfy in a creepy hippy sense. Never tried one, but I might give it a go next time.
Sitting in an airport terminal chair waiting to board for LAx sucks ass.

Consider filling it with nuts or grapes... you could lounge & munch at the same time, like a content monkey.

Fucking beautiful day in Vancouver yesterday. Went to a diner with my girl and sat out side, right in the gaybourhood. Got to see a fight from our seats between some wiggers and some homo's, which was amusing.
