ok, this really looks different from anything I have seen before....
The core idea of Drawing Restraint 9 is the relationship between self-imposed resistance and creativity, a theme it symbolically tracks through the construction and transformation of a vast sculpture of liquid Vaseline, called “The Field”, which is molded, poured, bisected and reformed on the deck of the ship over the course of the film.
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et fili, et spiritus sancti.
At the end of the movie, it will probably make sense, at least, that's what I'm hoping for

Looks good in the trailer but it will probably be kindof dull as a full length movie. All the supposedly deep symbolism in Barney's work can't make it entertaining.
He strikes me as a bit of an elitist really, I'm surprised he's putting this movie out on general release. I wouldn't expect it to make sense in the end, either.
