Is your 360 pretty loud, specifically when reading discs?
I'm not sure if its just mine, or if they are loud in general. I can definitely hear the drive when it is accessing the disc, and am always concerned about what a normal noise is vs. what a 'bad' noise is (i.e. a noise that might indicate problems with the drive).

I've heard every 360 everywhere scratches discs, so it's probably quite loud and it's a bad noise.

They do, when you move them while they are reading and turned on..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

I've had other cd drives that were louder but I can hear it when the games starts up. Once in game I can't hear it.

mine is only loud playing GRAW for some reason (really whines a lot unfortunately) - other games its pretty fine - having said that I've just put it flat now rather than upright - I reckon that sill sort a lot of that noise out tbh

its not really that loud. i mean yea you hear the disc spin the first 10 seconds but after that you hardly hear it. ofcourse i always have my sound pumped up but its not louder than loading from a cd in your pc.
it hooves a bit during full auto though, but i never had any whining going on. my 360 seems to rock *knocks wood*

My buddy has one. He let me borrow it for a week when he went away for work. I could hear it from behind a glass door on my entertainment stand.

There are holes in the back. Prevents the 14 month old from pushing buttons and turning dials and pulling cables. The first button she learned to push was the power button on the TV. I had to disable the front panel.

I thought the video showed that the processor itself is already using a water-cooled device.

Mine is loud..I didnt even have a disc in it, I was messing with media center extender, it was alright when it was idle..but when I would start a video the fans would turn up quite a bit.
