Whoopdee fucking doo. What's he going to do, add more blood? Christ, I wish this hack would just fuck off already. He's the Strangler of the film world.

QT is the man. period.
kill bill one was awesome. there are so many incredibly stilized scenes in it - benchmarking.
the o-ren introduction scene is nothing but stunning.
kill bill two was great as well with it's italo western style. though i liked the less narrative, the first volume better.
if qt really is doing a remake of this film my guess is that it will be incredible. the teeny stab and slay really had no real improvement ever since scream 1 came with its combination of a self reflecting view onto the genre and the light, entertaining mainstream splatter - which was later on perfected by final destination and especially final destination 2 - though part 2 has not got such a good character development it's death scenes are way better and a lot more entertaining. just remember where one of the boys is splashed by the large glass plate :icon19:

you should definitely check out the second kill bill, as well as being decent in it's own right it makes the first one good.
tarantino's a magpie, and a bloody good one at that. he has a real knack for stealing the best elements of a bunch of different things and putting them together to produce his movies.
hopefully with friday the 13th, all he's taken is the title (and the machete, machetes are cool).

1. Replace theme tune with 70s funk song.
2. Have Jason do kung fu.
3. Insert 3000000000000 references to every other horror film in existance including this one.
4. Release.
You left out his cameo role
