wrapper.gamespyid.com - slowing forum down?

Takes forever to load the pages sometimes, and on my opera status bar, says connecting to remote host wrapper.gamespyid.com

why is it that these hosts always slow shit down - i see this sort of thing all over the place...

It is more by atax.ign.com, or both, I think.
Why?
Maybe they want to earn traffic or literally spy.

Block it and see if it makes a difference. From my experience Opera is incompatible with a lot of sites and crashes a lot when watching embedded videos.

tried the newest preview beta? i don't have any problems so far with either.
