pixelMorgue

Post by evillair »

I posted a similar topic before but I changed the name and url of the website, so I'm posting again. (hope it's ok, just trying to keep info updated)

pixelMorgue has just been opened at http://www.pixelmorgue.com.

pixelMorgue is forum designated for the art of game texturing.

I and a few other Ubisoft employees (and other professionals) are there to give advice and help out to budding texture artists.
I will also be doing some tutorials and sharing tips and tricks I've learned over the years to help out anyone wanting to texture for games. I know when I started I didn't have anywhere to ask for help or advise so I wanted to start something that I could do my part to help out in some small way to give back to the community.

Thanks.

Nice! I might just have to try my hand at making a few Q4 textures... Last time I attempted to make textures was back in the Q2 days and it was Not Pretty. :)

I was so excited to go over there and see what q4 texture packs are out, that I don't have.

But there weren't as many as I wanted :(

(although I can't complain, the eX texture set is treating me pretty well at the moment).

excellent website. Im extremely glad that I came upon it in a few days of deciding that I want to make my own textures to use with my maps instead of having others make the textures for me :icon32:

Great stuff and I like what I've been seeing so far. :icon14: :D :icon14:
