Digital Cable Question

Post by SOAPboy »

Is it possible, to take a PC and make it your cable box?

I have a DVR right now in the living room, while its nice, we dont have a box in the bedroom and honestly, id rather just throw together a pc out of spare parts than rent or buy another one..

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

in that artical, the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 does NOT do digial cable, it will only do the analog side of things..

AS FAR as i know now, There is no digial TV tuners for computers,

but i have heard of microsoft and cable company's reaching an accord and giving manufactures the Nod to start making them..

again, this is what i have heard.. No clue if it is %100.

DVB-T is a Euro Design and build.. so its a hit or miss if it will actually work on your digitial Cable line.. some do, some dont.
