Last Sunday I hit my knee on a wall pretty hard. The impact was right on the kneecap while the leg was extended. It hurt like hell but I tried extending and contracting my leg to check if I broke my knee or something. It worked fine. It hurt when I extended or contracted my leg and there was a visible bump on the knee.
The next day I was feeling better and I went downhill skiing because it was a very nice day and the knee didn't hurt when I skiid.
Afterwards everything felt normal, but today is Friday, its been 5 days and I still feel some tension and dull pain when I extend or contract my leg. I was wondering if this is normal after an impact on the knee or should I go get an X-ray because my knee might be broken or something? I doesn't hurt much at all, but its still perceivable. I'm not going to work out legs at the gym today though.
