Fake Paypal email?

Hmmm... Just got this in my inbox from "confirm@intl.paypal.com":

"You have added hackmail25@aol.com as a new email address for your
PayPal account.

If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with
your account, please contact PayPal customer service at:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run

Came with logos and everything. I checked my account myself anyways, via the proper method (not clicking on links and by going there myself) and no new emails were added. The paypal link links to "http://www.google.com/url?sa%3dU%26star ... pagina.php" so I can only bet that its fake...

If so, do people really still fall for this crap?

Never answer a email from paypal or ebay even if it's legit. If you're concered about your account, just look it up and check for yourself 99.99 percent of the time there is nothing wrong with your account.

I have been told countless times that my paypal account will be closed unless I go to the link provided and fill in the necessary information., (yeah right)

I go to paypal and there is nothing going on with my account.
