Absolutely sucked....

What I got out of it:
-Dinosaur pile
-shitty acting and dialogue
-overdone

That's about the gist of it. I thought Peter Jackson made a good looking film, but the rest of it pretty much blew goat chunks. I mean, Kong can kill three tyranosaurus rex dudes (getting huge ass teeth in the arm, legs, foot, etc), but then get disabled by a harpoon....no fucking way. They basic physics were all kinds of fucked up.

we've all seen the adds on tv, what you see is what you get.
it's king kong you know how it ends, who the fuck is gonna crit the movie up to movie crit standards?
i'd say go see it and marvel at the spectacle of it and don't worry about it if some chump at q3world has sand in his vagina and doesn't like it, you'll probably like it and have a good time

Its not even a spectacle. All the "effects" have been done already, and they made it just a ridiculous experience as opposed to an expic one, or one that would wow you. It was ridiculously overdone...

I think this film was going to be "good" regardless. It seems folks are under the mindset because its King Kong, and because its Peter Jackson who brought us The Lord of the Rings, it will be good. IMO they could have done a great job with it, and they were close to the right thing, but it just didnt cut it. Scenes were too long, characters' reactions to events were absolutely not right, and the physics were just plain stupid especially since they attempted to do them correctly in some areas of the film.

Hey fucknut. I was talking about relevant physics you pathetic fool. It is a fucking movie, but it fucking sucked IMO. They could have made it great, but they didnt for quite obvious reasons. The dinosaur pile was ridiculous, and stuff like that distanced you instead of sucking you in and getting you involved. The same crap happened in the sequels to "The Mummy", for example (the "scorpion king" was pathetic). It just seemed they were pimping their graphics, and in doing so let real-world physics and basic human reactions/interactions take a nose dive. They could have done a much better job in bringing this fantasy to life, but they goofed it all up. Cheezy lines, bad physics, and overdone scenes ruined it for me.
