Are you more of a radio listener or a disk ‘’addict’’?

Post by Guest »

In my early 20S I had a 3000$ sound system and I used to go to a Montreal specialist disk store like twice a month buying 3 to 5 albums every time but now I mostly only listen to the radio…A 150$ set. What a change.

Is it relative to a certain age, how old are you?

Could we make a poll about it please? any mod?
And adding our age if possible because I think that it is relevant.

I listen to Stern in the morning drive to work...Then CBC radio all day at work and on the drive home. When I turn on the TV and Watch the CBC. ( for corronation street :paranoid: ) I mostly buy and watch movies.

I usually listen to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/ , or if I don't like the DJ sometimes http://www.kerrangradio.co.uk/. Usually only when I'm driving though.

Mostly I was refering to the idea that I don't want the radio on, thus i HAVE to get up and kill it...

If I fired up my playlist, I'd be more likely to just lay there and listen. ::olo:

university radio in large market cities tends to be best. i'm talking shows that have been running for years, not some sophomore with a sonic youth t-shirt that found his brother's old pavement discography. plenty shows of substance exist.

and npr though the local stations tend to differ in programming. i found that boston's is the best since most of the shows are based there.

Mostly Radio while I work, then when I get bored listening to the same music over and over I turn on my iPod with the iTrip then listen to it thru the radio. Much better without the commercials. :)

All radio stations suck ass. CD's, records, and tapes all the way.

I hit up used and new record stores all the time for all kinds of music.
