Did this really happen? LOL.
First off, CNN is perfectly within their rights to fire the dumbass answering the phone, because he was trying to present his personal opinion as the views of the company, and was probably alienating viewers.
But why are people attacking CNN for X'ing out Cheney's face? Aside from the rabid right-wingers, of course. It makes me want to applaud them.
Or as close as I can come to applauding CNN anyway.

Well I just looked at the clip, and in all fairness it doesn't look like it was intentional. The X didn't flash for very long (maybe 2 flickers in 1 second's time) and there was no mention of it by the announcer.
