Lobster cooking
Does anyone know how to cook lobster? I tried googling it and apparently theres tons of ways to make it. Anyone have any recommendations on the best way to flavour it and stuff?

You cooking the whole thing? Just chuck him in. Or, if you're a cruel bastage, lower him in slowly and listen to him scream! There are pre-mixed bags of lobster boil that you can get at most grocery stores.
I hate lobster (SEA COCKROACHES!), but my wife loves it. She usually just boils 'em in hot water and eats them with drawn butter.

The easiest and fastest way is boiling it. As for every recipes on google like this one...Boiling:Chupacabra wrote:Does anyone know how to cook lobster? I tried googling it and apparently theres tons of ways to make it. Anyone have any recommendations on the best way to flavour it and stuff?
When boiling lobsters, use a kettle large enough to hold 1 or 2 lobsters at a time allowing 3-quarts of water per lobster. You may wish to add 1 tbsp of salt per quart. When water comes to a rolling boil, submerge live lobsters one at a time. Return water to a boil. Lower heat to simmer and boil 8 to 10 minutes for 1- to 1-1/4 pound lobsters, or 12 to 14 minutes for 1 1/2-pound lobsters. The tails should begin to float toward the surface once the lobsters are cooked.
All you need to know is that you need a lot of water and...Don't forget to remove the rubber band from the claws, believe me, some people leave them on and it's not a real tasty ingredient especially if you grill it.
Bon appétit

i just get the tails.
take a pair of long thin sizzors and cut the shell in the center towards the tail as close to the upper inside of the shell as possable as not to cut into the shit-guts and taint teh meat, thats why the long thin sizzors.
carefully remove shit-viens without breaking them and wash vigorously under cold water.
i use a pair of henkal haircut sizzors .
do it all under cold running water .
take the tales, butter them, and throw them on the bbq with some filet steaks.
if theyre ready before the steaks, place them atop the steaks until your done.
perfect evertime with the least amount of hassle.

Oh look, Kracus is making another horribly shitty attempt at flaming me. I say it's shitty because it fails on pretty much every level. Except for categories such as Being Shitty, Horrible Flames, Lousy Insults, and Stupid Insinuations. His post is really good in those categories, which is of course a contradiction in terms.
For shame, Kracus. For shame.
