The Sword Of Doom

If you haven't seen this, it is definitely worth picking up. The main character, Ryunosuke, is essentially the biggest badass in Japan and by the end of the movie nothing less than a small army dies by his sword. The plot is decent and considering the movie was written in 1966 I suppose it was original at the time. Aside from the death scenes given by the random desposable samurai, the acting is very good. Best of all, the subtitles are nearly flawless.

Ryunosuke is supposed to be the bad guy but his character is so fucking hardcore I couldn't help rooting for him.

I've only recently given up on recent hollywood movies to dig deep into the classics but I'll add that to my queue and let you know eventually :icon26:

I bumped it up to come after City of God and that Appleseed movie I posted about before (yeah, I keep finding things that sounds better).
