No one should be pooped on while they're sleeping

I woke up this morning to the sound of my 11 year old daughter screaming...
This is a disturbing event in itself especially @ 4am, add running into her room
half alseep and seeing her covered in dung. Yes, this is how my day started.
It seems that our 4 month old puppy pulled off a succesful jailbreak and snuck up to
her room then proceeded to let loose all up and down her left side whilst she lay in a peacful slumber.
I think I'm going to rename him Defiler.

She handled amazingly well.
I gotta say that she is a tough little girl.
She was more angry than freaked out.
My wife on the other hand was traumatized.

Man I have a one year old. I guess its not so bad since your dog is a puppy. I know there might be a dog beating if my irish terrier did that.

He is in the process of being house trained and is a very intelligent pup. I've had many and he is the smartest one to date. The impluse to smack him around was strong but I do not want to mess him up emotionally. I believe he escaped and went to her room to let her know he needed to evacuate immediately. I think he couldn't hold it anymore and just let it fly.

None taken. If she leads anything but a charmed life I will be shocked. Everyone gets shit on in life, best to learn it early on.
One of the many (now) humorous details of this debacle was my daughter telling me that she remembers half dreaming that she was pulling food out of Bruschi's mouth (pup) and that she woke up with a handful of squished crap. I think that while she was having this dream she was also grabbing the goods as they were being released.
