Burner problem

Post by Doomcore »

Hey...

I bought Samsung cd burner....and win xp recognized it fine. I received Roxio burning software with it. Problem is when I burn music cd so I can listen it on stereo or in car, left speaker crackles....no matter which cd I burn ( Princo, Traxdata, Verbatim, BenQ, etc... ). It works, but l can hear on left speaker some clicks and crackles. ( all other original cd's and the one's who were burned by my friends work normal, so my speakers are workin good )

Than, when I burn data cd....it burns normally, and when I want to load it up after burning, burner/cd-rom just spins cd and it doesn't want to load/open it ( explore in win xp )....??? :icon27: Same thing happens with mp3 cd.... :icon26:

WTF...??? :icon28: :icon23:

Can someone help me???

Thanks!!!

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I have an older NEC ND-3520A. Best drive I've ever had, and I used to stick with LG's.

BTW, don't you mean 3540?

yer, Lite-On and NEC have been most excellent. I also have a TDK that's been going strong for over 3 years AND ripped 300+ CD's; not to mention other burns.

I got my HP dvd writer 200i in 2002 and never have had a problem with it. If you want a DVD writer, go with HP.

BUT DON'T BUY A COMPAQ PC - they come bundled with some "suprises" (ala Spyware & a Virus)

Basically, any make of DVD burner, lol.

I bought a Philips because of the two year warranty and an unparalleled reputation in the CD/DVD market.
