So what's going on with the release date?

Has there ever been an official release date on this?

I've called my EB Games, BestBuy and CompUSA - none of them even have it in stock yet. BestBuy says the release date is tomorrow. CompUSA says the release is the 19th. EB Games has no clue; they don't even know when they're supposed to start selling it or when they might have it.

Is there any kind of official release date on this game at all? It's a little frustrating having to call all around town without even knowing.

Well I've got the day off tomorrow for two doctors appointments, and I was hoping I would be able to pick the game up somewhere.

Fact: The game shipped Monday, October 17.

It will be for sale at most places Tuesday afternoon.

Amazon said two weeks ago 18th
The official release date said the 18th
I preordered the mother fucker 2 weeks ago from amazon with next day air shipping.
I don't find it unreasonble to expect them to live up to their word.
it should, at the very least, be in stores on the 18th.
I don't think that's too much to expect.

Not true for me, I have to wait till Wensday because EBGAMES! wont have it. But BestBuy's said that they might have it in on Tuesday if Fedex gets in on time, he says they are almost always are. Which he is right about Fedex almost always being on time.
