This thing looks, on the face of it, awesome. Features:
* Dual core 'ARM920T, ARM940T' is embedded in GP2X.
* Replays MPEG 4, XviD, WMV DivX format digital contents up to 720*480 pixels and supports caption.
* Watch vivid motion pictures on the high resolution 3.5" 260,000 colors TFT LCD.
* Replays music in MP3, WMA, OGG format on the multi-codec MP3 player.
* Photo album support for formats: JPG, BMP, PCX, GIF
* USB 2.0 Support
* Runs on 2 AA batteries w/6-10hr lifespan

I mean... I'm not about to preorder or anything, but the idea of an open source handheld with emulators shipped as standard is sweet. The only things lacking are a HD and out-of-the-box wireless, but with the USB and a linux-based OS, that can be changed...

this thing's a successor to the gp32. no touchscreen, but will probably buy one anyway. looks nifty.
