i don't think those are wingmen

they're the old mouseman 96 - exact same mould as the wingman.

was actually my first mouse, which is why i ended up using a wingman (which i still use btw)

I bought it :icon25:

Julios, it's the same mouse basically...only differences are the color and the logo.

plus the software I think. Not to mention mouseman 96 is ps2. But maybe there are ps2 to usb converters - but if so, would it be true usb?

but yea, like duhy says, this mouse is unique in gaming history for its shape. It's the reason i'm still using a 3 year old wingman over a new optical. Nothing else comes close from what i've sampled, but i haven't sampled that much of the new

well...it looks a bit dated compared to what I'm using right now but I just wanted to try one cause I never got the chance to test one yet...besides, I could just keep it under wraps and sell it for 5 times the price in a few years.

I used one of those at work a few years back now, and was surprised when I first saw it.

Unfortunately it's not quite the same as the WGM. The buttons are less responsive and so is the ball. Also not being USB you lose something in the interface (although when I'm used to it, I prefer the lower sample rate of PS2 mice).

I think getting a small cache of these mice and using them to convert to a USB optical (with a laptop mini-mouse for example) would produce an optical version of the WGM, which you could resell for $$$.
