Powerpoint to Word

Post by shiznit »

I have a professor who puts all of his notes up on the web as power point presentations, he also provides a word version but it’s very poor because he just saves the file as “Outline/RTF”.

Does anyone know if there is a converter that can do a better job? Because it’s a pain in the ass converting all the lectures by hand into printable material for my black and white laser printer.

I thought powerpoint had an option to strip all graphics for printing.

Hangon I'll fire it up on my housemates PC and take a look.

The problem with that is that there are a lot of single page files with a huge heading. I don't need it to be printed that way because it will fill up a whole page. I need it all to fit a couple of pages intead of 50+ pages with random heading and quick points that fill up the whole page.

Doing this all by hand is going to really suck, any more ideas?

I use pen & paper in class but there is no way you can keep up with the notes. So it's far better to print the lecture and add notes to them as the lecture goes on.

Sweet, just found out you can print 6 slides on 1 page. You have to select handouts..
