i wonder why the whole city didn't evacuate for hurricane alicia? it was a strong cat 4 when it was just off the coast of houston. city officals did the same thing they have always done with the dozens of hurricanes over the decades...evacuate low lying areas in houston and all of galveston. now all of a sudden they gotta evacuate all of houston and even counties 50 miles north of downtown houston...i mean really wtf...this is the superdome on the highway...
a defining attribute of a government is that it has a monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violence...
yeah no shit moron, the last hurricane 3 weeks ago devastated 90,000 square miles of land.. Hrmm... nah, lets not evacuate a town full of folks 20 miles inland..

what a dummy
wow u r clueless...hurricanes only devastate about 10-15 miles inland...only reason for all the deavastation with katrina was a citty that was under seal level had the levees break...u sound as dumb as bush and u act like u may work for him...DUMB..
did i say that moron? no...i said 10-15 miles inland...and then the new orleans situation. the point was dumb ass theres no reason to evacuate areas that are over 100 miles from the ocean...like montgomery county...guess ur too dumb to undertand...
the hurricane force winds break up pretty quick over land, but the tropical storm force stuff can keep going. but the main risk after that becomes flooding, not wind blowing buildings to pieces...

i took a shit yesterday that, if it were taken in the commode of a bus, would have probably caused it to blow up....and left a crater in the ground below it...maybe that was the case...
i have been in 3 hurricanes...all had winds over 100 mph and i was anywhere from 75 to 30 miles from the coast...this is is such an over-reaction is retarded...and now ppl are dying all over the highways...what r the govt officials gonna say when the death toll for the storm is lower then the evacuations? better safe then sorry? rofl...
